The standard Nelspruit road club loop from Mbombela through White River and back. The R40 White River Road climbs steadily through subtropical farms — macadamia, mango, litchi and banana plantations — before cresting at White River and descending back to Nelspruit via the R538 and R40. Moderate traffic, excellent road surface and beautiful Lowveld scenery make this the backbone of Nelspruit road cycling.
