A breathtaking gravel loop on the Kaapsehoop escarpment plateau at 1,600 m above the Lowveld. The route links the historic mining village of Kaapsehoop with the plateau's farm roads, indigenous forest patches and the cliff-edge viewpoints overlooking the entire Lowveld and Mozambique plains. Wild horses roam the plateau freely and are commonly encountered on the route. Misty, cool and extraordinary — one of South Africa's most atmospheric gravel rides.
