A gravel ride through the Loeriesfontein area of the Hantam Karoo — home to two of South Africa's largest wind farms (Loeriesfontein 1 & 2, totalling 200 turbines). The route links the wind farm access roads through the open Karoo scrubland with 360° views over the semi-arid plains. The Hantam National Botanical Garden near Calvinia is an optional extension. A unique Karoo gravel experience dominated by the scale of the wind energy infrastructure.
