A spectacular gravel loop through the Namaqualand flower belt — one of the world's great natural spectacles during August/September when millions of wild flowers carpet the semi-arid plains. The route from Springbok links the Skilpad Wildflower Reserve (Namaqua NP), the Loeriesfontein area and the granite koppies of the Hantam region. Orange gazanias, purple vygies and yellow daisies transform the usually austere Karoo landscape into a riot of colour.
