A road loop from Colesberg — the crossroads of South Africa where the N1 meets the N9 and N10. The route heads into the Renosterberg mountains and loops through the sparse Karoo sheep farms on the R369 and district roads. Colesberg sits at the border of three provinces (NC, Free State, EC) and the Karoo landscape here is wide, flat-bottomed, ringed by dolerite koppies and utterly vast. A meditative Karoo road ride with no traffic.
