A remote gravel adventure from Zeerust north towards the Madikwe Game Reserve fence — one of South Africa's largest Big Five reserves. The route follows farm tracks and reserve boundary roads through dry mopane bushveld on the Botswana border approaches. The vast open landscape, enormous sky and extreme quiet define this North West gravel experience. Strong winds and corrugated gravel demand good technical cycling.
