About this Route

A scenic road loop south of Joburg following the Vaal River between Vereeniging and Vanderbijlpark. The route crosses the Vaal at Sasolburg and loops back along the northern bank through Meyerton and Three Rivers. Flat riverside roads, wide skies and the tranquil Vaal Dam approach make this a refreshing contrast to busy Joburg. A favourite escape for south Joburg and Vaal Triangle cyclists.
