A scenic road loop through the Venda heartland north of Louis Trichardt, linking Thohoyandou (capital of the former Venda homeland) with the Thate Vondo State Forest. The forest road climbs through dense subtropical forest with sacred Venda sites, cycad populations and the Phiphidi Waterfall en route. The Venda cultural landscape — lakes, forests and mountains — makes this one of Limpopo's most culturally rich cycling routes.
