About this Route

A classic Pretoria escape ride heading north-west to the Hartbeespoort Dam. The route leaves Pretoria via the Brits Road, climbs the Magaliesberg foothills and loops the dam before returning via the R512 and Lanseria. A 110 km classic with the Schoemansville climb and the Magaliesberg ridge as highlights. The standard route for Pretoria cyclists' big weekend ride.
