A classic north Limpopo road ride from Polokwane to Mokopane (Potgietersrus) on the R101 — the old Bela-Bela Road before the N1 bypass. The route passes through Seshego, Lebowakgomo turnoff and the Mogalakwena River valley. Low traffic, good tar and classic South African bushveld scenery characterise the 80 km out-and-back. Mokopane's town centre and the Makapan Valley (early human ancestor fossil sites) reward the effort.
