About this Route

A short but punchy road loop from Northcliff centred on the Northcliff Hill climb — one of Joburg's most iconic road cycling efforts. The Northcliff Ridge rises 200 m above the western suburbs with 360-degree Joburg skyline views from the water tower. The loop descends through Northcliff Extension 4 and Fairland before a final climb back over the ridge. Perfect for pre-sunrise or early morning club groups.
