A road loop through Mahikeng — the capital of the North West Province and site of the famous Siege of Mafeking (1899–1900). The route links the CBD, the historic Mafikeng Game Reserve (within the city boundary), the airport area and the Molopo River valley. The city's unique character — a provincial capital with a large game reserve inside it — makes for an unusual urban cycling experience with wildlife visible from the road.
