A spectacular descent from the Drakensberg escarpment above Graskop/Bourke's Luck down to Hoedspruit in the Lowveld. The R531 Strijdom Tunnel Road drops over 800 m through subtropical forest, past the famous Three Rondavels viewpoint and into the Lowveld heat. The full descent from Abel Erasmus Pass adds the Olifants River gorge. One of South Africa's great cycling descents with world-class scenery throughout.
