About this Route

A long-distance road escape from Pretoria north to Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) on the N1. The 120 km route follows the old Bela-Bela Road through Hammanskraal and the Limpopo bushveld transitional zone. The reward is a hot spring soak at the destination. The return trip via the R101 adds scenic farm roads through Nylstroom (Modimolle) country. Popular for Pretoria cycling clubs' overnight rides.
