About this Route

A flat, fast out-and-back course on Allandale Road between Midrand and the N14 — Joburg's most popular time trial venue. Cycling clubs including EWCC and Kyalami Race Club run regular time trials here on weekday evenings. The dual carriageway is wide, smooth and almost perfectly flat, making it the benchmark for TT training in Gauteng. Best ridden at dusk when traffic eases.
