What is CrankMart?

CrankMart is a dedicated marketplace for South African cyclists to buy and sell bikes, parts, and gear.

What makes CrankMart different

• Built-in escrow. When you pay with Buy now, TradeSafe holds the money in escrow, and the seller is paid only once you've accepted the item.
• Verified sellers. Sellers complete TradeSafe identity + banking verification before they can receive funds. You'll see a green "Verified" badge on their listings. Verified means TradeSafe has checked the seller's identity and bank details. It doesn't mean anyone has checked the item.
• CrankMart does not charge any commission on escrow payments. The seller receives the sale price, less TradeSafe's escrow fee.
• Cycling-only. Bikes, parts, gear and the people who ride them, whether you've ridden for years or are buying your first proper bike.

• Sell your own gear: free to list. CrankMart does not charge any commission on escrow payments.
• Boost a listing so more buyers see it, for a fee
• Find shops, events, and trails in the cycling directory

How it works for buyers

1. Browse or search for what you want
2. Click Buy Now on a listing from a verified seller
3. Pay through TradeSafe's checkout (card)
4. Funds are held in escrow while the seller ships
5. Confirm you have it, then accept it in TradeSafe's email → seller gets paid (or automatically when the inspection period ends)

How it works for sellers

1. Create a free account and verify your email
2. Complete seller verification so buyers can pay you
3. Create your listing with photos, price, and specs
4. When someone buys, ship the item promptly
5. TradeSafe pays you out when the buyer accepts the item, or automatically when its inspection period ends
